ABOUT
Footscray Hawks Basketball Club was established in 201,3, and we currently have 63 registered teams for the 2024 Winter Season. They represent the club from U8s to U18s. Our club continues to accept new players to join our waitlist. We aim to grow Basketball in the western region for girls and boys of all ages and skills.
Our teams play in the Saturday competition run by the Westgate Basketball Association.
NEW PLAYERS
The club welcomes new players, and no experience is needed. Please head to our JOIN THE HAWKS page to register your interest.
Alternatively, you can contact the club registrar at registrar@footscrayhawks.com.au with your contact details along with your child's name, date of birth and any playing experience (so we can match them to the most suitable team).

We are currently experiencing a very high demand for places. Where places aren't available in an age group, we operate a waiting list for new players.

Age group eligibility
Age groups are defined by the age of a player as of the 31st of December in the year the season ends.
TRAINING
Each team trains for an hour a week on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday afternoon or evening. Our training venues are

COACHES AND VOLUNTEERS
The Club welcomes new coaches and supports parents new to the game with training and mentoring to become coaches. Anyone interested in coaching at the Hawks can contact the club at coaching@footscrayhawks.com.au
